The House of Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian-born Parisian who wanted to liberate the female body from the strict and rigid fashion of the time through a luxury ready-to-wear offering. Since its creation, the House has entrusted the task of perpetuating and accompanying Chloé's mission to a whole succession of young talents: Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo, Hannah MacGibbon, Natacha Ramsay-Levi and, today, Gabriela Hearst.
