Family ties are the driving force behind this hearty Italian tailoring house. Business boomed in the 1970s when the brand was picked up on by a number of renowned customers, earning the label a reputation for the sophistication and quality of its construction. The essence of Lardini is captured in its craftsmanship and sartorial tradition. Indeed, the Brand’s roots are steeped in know-how based on history, location, courage and passion for quality, all Made in Italy. These elements have made Lardini one of Italy’s most well-established companies, with a worldwide reputation for manufacturing knowledge that today rests in the hands of just a small number of businesses. Lardini company was founded in 1978 by four brothers, Luigi, Andrea, Lorena and Annarita. They opened a small sartorial workshop in Filottrano – a charming medieval village set in the Marche hills. The trademark of their Company is unmistakable: the perfectly tailored jacket. In just a few years, their customer base grew to include prestigious names and the Company became a reference point for the production of quality jackets. Alongside production on behalf of other brands, the first Lardini branded men's line was launched in 1993, the women’s line in 2012, and have assumed an increasingly large percentage of the Company’s sales.
