Fedeli was established in 1934 by Luigi Fedeli, the grandfather of the current CEO. It was the year when Italy beat Czechoslovakia 2-1 in extra time in the final game of the FIFA World Cup, becoming World Champion for the first time. In those years Monza was considered the capital of hats manufacturing and that was what our company made — hats — but the second World War would soon break out and everything changed.
After the war, Nino, the son of Luigi, joined the company and realized that we had to shift towards a different kind of garment. So we first started to manufacture leather goods and after we moved more and more into knitwear, even if it was extremely complex and the machinery was as big as ships engines. Nino Fedeli studied, traveled, learned and thanks to him Fedeli has been the first company in Italy to produce cable sweaters, becoming extremely successful. It was the 50s, the years of Vespa and Lambretta, of the conquest of K2 mountain and of the Italian economic recovery.

Milan and Lombardia were the center of design and in particular of extraordinary designers, entrepreneurs, and artisans and Fedeli is a perfect example of it.  In 1979 the company opens to the third generation with Luigi coming on board. Fedeli is a family company with 85 years of historical and successful presence in the market currently managed by its third generation (Luigi - as the founder) and the fourth generation (Niccolò) entered in 2015 in the company.
