The story of J.M. Weston begins at the end of the 19th century in the heart of the Limousin region of France, where tanning and leatherworking are a tradition. In 1891, Edouard Blanchard set up his men's and women's shoe factory. He was soon joined by his son Eugène, whose eye was drawn to the United States and its modernity. J.M. Weston, a traditional shoe manufacturer for over 120 years, likes to sublimate classic codes by reinterpreting them with audacity. With the strength of its expertise in Limoges, the company is in constant motion, reinventing itself without ever failing in its quest for timelessness. Each new model, each new leather, each new manufacturing detail is designed in the workshops to enhance the feet of men and women. More than a shoe, the moccasin, the derby, the richelieu become a walking companion, reflecting a lifestyle free of any constraint, of an affirmed elegance.
